Serie A TIM: investment fund LionRock Capital (Hong Kong) acquires 31.05% of Internazionale Milano

LionRock Capital, an investment fund based in Hong Kong (CHN), has acquired 31.05% of the capital of FC Internazionale Milano (Serie A TIM), according to the club on 25/01/2019. LionRock Capital acquires the entire shares of International Sports Capital HK Ltd., a company also based in Hong Kong, headed by Indonesian businessman Erick Thohir.

"The club welcomes LionRock Capital to the Inter family and expects them to assist and support Suning (Chinese multinational, majority shareholder of the club) in bringing further success to Inter both on and off the pitch. The club extends its appreciation to Erick Thohir for his past contributions and wishes him every success in the future," added the Milan club.

Erick Thohir became president of Inter Milan in 2013 after acquiring, via International Sports Capital HK Ltd, 70% of the club from Massimo Moratti, majority shareholder of Inter since 1995.
