The British OTT platform Eleven Sports will retain the UK and Ireland broadcast rights to LaLiga Santander matches "until the end of the (2018-19) season with the intention of continuing beyond", but will stop the broadcast of Serie A TIM and Eredivisie matches "from the end of February," announced the audiovisual group via Twitter on 30/01/2019.

"This follows the strategic decision we have taken to amicably end our partnership with IMG, the agency that manages these rights. The direction we have chosen allows us to focus on LaLiga which not only drives real value for us in the UK and Ireland, but is also a property which we continue to have a valued partnership with in five markets globally," continued Eleven Sports.

"We have therefore agreed with Premier Sports - the service that will take on the content - that we will both show the action from Serie A and Eredivisie throughout February, with the final Serie A match taking place on Eleven Sports on Monday 25/02/2019 before coverage switches exclusively to Premier Sports from 01/03/2019," added Eleven Sports.
