Ligue 1 Conforama: Gauthier Ganaye succeeds Jean-Pierre Rivère as president of OGC Nice

Gauthier Ganaye, 30, has been named president of OGC Nice (Ligue 1 Conforama) with immediate effect, according to the club at the end of its supervisory board meeting on 30/01/2019. Gauthier Ganaye succeeds Jean-Pierre Rivère, who had held this position since June 2011.

Having passed through RC Lens (Domino's Ligue 2) between 2013 and 2017, Gauthier Ganaye then became "the first Frenchman to be the chief executive officer of a professional football club in England, Barnsley Football Club, on 12/06/2017. He has worked until today towards promotion (Barnsley is currently 3^rd in League One) alongside Chien Lee, Grace Hung and Paul Conway who bought the club six months later," added the Nice club.
