UEFA: Javier Tebas (ESP) calls for rejection of N. Al-Khelaifi's nomination to Executive Committee

"His appointment must be rejected as it violates all reasonable rules of governance, not only because of the Financial Fair Play file, also because he is president of beIN Sports, one of the main UEFA broadcast rights buyers," stated Javier Tebas, president of LaLiga, on 31/01/2019, on the appointment of Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, as ECA representative, on the UEFA Executive Committee .

Nasser Al-Khelaifi, the Qatari president of Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Conforama), has been elected to the UEFA Executive Committee as ECA representative, according to the European Club Association on 30/01/2019.
