Borussia Dortmund: LichtBlick (partner) installs charging stations for electric cars at the stadium

LichtBlick, a German renewable energy supplier, has activated its partnership with Borussia Dortmund (Bundesliga) by installing charging stations for electric cars in the colours of "Strom09" ("Electricity09") at the Signal Iduna Park (81,359 capacity), said the club on 26/01/2019. "Four charging stations have been installed, a number that will then be increased to nine," added the club.

"The charging stations are supplied with green Strom09 electricity, a brand created by the 'BVB 09' (nickname of the club) with its partner LichtBlick, which has been supplying the stadium since an agreement signed in February 2013. Currently, recharging is free and should then be possible with a 'petrol' Strom09 smart card, explained Borussia Dortmund of which LichtBlick via "Strom 09" is an official partner, the third level in the sponsorship hierarchy the club.
