Guinness Six Nations: Amazon Web Services becomes the "Official Technology Provider" from 2019

Amazon Web Services (AWS), a subsidiary of the American e-commerce group, has become the "official technology provider" of the Guinness Six Nations, on 01/02/2019. The 2019 edition of the tournament began with France - Wales (19-24) on Friday 01/02/2019 at the Stade de France (80,000 capacity) in Saint-Denis, Paris (kick-off at 21:00 CET). The agreement was signed with Six Nations Rugby Ltd, the commercial company and rights holder of the Six Nations tournament.

"As well as providing the technology behind the live broadcast of on-screen match data and statistics, AWS will also power other aspects of the Six Nations Championship across the official website. With AWS, Six Nations plan on using predictive analytics for the first time. For the 2019 Six Nations Championship, seven new kinds of statistics will be launched that are significantly more dynamic than those featured in previous broadcasts," said the subsidiary of the e-commerce group.
