Italy: Continental to appear on all Serie B hoarding boards until the end of the 2013-14 season

German tire company Continental has become sponsor of the Lega Serie B (Italian 2^nd division), on the 22/01/2014. The partnership will begin in mid-February 2014 and will expire at the end of the 2013-14 championship.

Continental will appear on the hoarding boards at each fixture of the 22 teams in Serie B Eurobet. The contract was brokered by RCS Sport, exclusive marketing agency of the league.

"Compared to the 2011-12 season, the total number of viewers of the Serie B has increased by over 23%. This highlights the increased interest in this competition. (...) For this reason, Continental has chosen to follow closely the current season of Serie B," said Alessandro De Martino, managing director of Continental Italy.

"In a short amount of time, thanks to the 'B Club', which is an advanced form of commercial support to clubs, we have created a series of valuable and reliable partnerships to work alongside the Lega Serie B, offering innovative marketing and promoting synergies" indicated Andrea Abodi, president of the Lega Serie B.
