FC Internazionale Milano: shirts flocked in Mandarin to celebrate Chinese New Year

FC Internazionale Milano (Serie A TIM) have celebrated Chinese New Year by flocking players' names in Mandarin on the club's shirts for the Inter Milan - Bologna FC 1909 (0-1) game at the San Siro (67,394 capacity) on Sunday 03/02/2019, according to the club on 02/02/2019. China entered the Year of the Pig on 05/02/2019.

"For the very first time, a Serie A club will take to the pitch with the players' names printed in Chinese on the back of their shirts. This unique event in Italy's top division will not be the only initiative tailored towards our fans in China: messages sent by fans through Weibo (Chinese social network) will also be displayed on the LED boards down on the sidelines, while video content starring Milan Skriniar, Radja Nainggolan, Keita Balde and Matteo Politano - some of which will be exclusive for the Club's Chinese social media channels - will be released in the coming days," said the Milanese club ahead of the match.
