Bundesliga: a pay-TV audience record in Germany for the Saturday matches

The multiplex of five games on Matchday 20 of the 2018-19 Bundesliga season, and the simultaneous broadcast of these matches on additional channels, posted an average of 2.15 million viewers (1.02 million for the multiplex, 1.13 million on additional channels) on the channels of the pay-TV group Sky Deutschland on Saturday 02/02/2019 (kick-off at 15:30 CET).

This figure is an audience record for a pay-TV group in Germany. The audience record for a single match, on pay-TV, was also beaten this season during the Borussia Dortmund - FC Bayern Munich game (3-2, Matchday 11), which drew an average of 2.05 million viewers, on Saturday 10/11/2018 (kick-off at 18:30 CET).

In total, eight of the nine games on Matchday 20 of 2018-19 Bundesliga season posted a cumulative average audience of 4.44 million viewers on Sky Deutschland (second best audience of the season).
