Los Angeles Rams - New England Patriots (3-13), the 53rd edition of the Super Bowl, held at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, drew 98.2 million viewers in the United States on the free-TV channel CBS on Sunday 03/02/2018 (start at 18:30 Eastern Time, 00:30 CET D+1), according to data from the Nielsen Institute.

This is the lowest audience figure for a Super Bowl game since the 2009 edition. The most watched annual event in the United States was watched by 103.4 million viewers in the United States on NBC in 2018 (New England Patriots - Philadelphia Eagles, 33-41), the lowest score since 2009 before this year.

The NFL regular season audience was up in 2018, for the first time in three seasons (see details below).
