The Best FIFA Football Awards 2019: the fouth edition will take place in Milan (ITA) on 23/09/2019

"The Best FIFA Football Awards - a star-studded night celebrating football's greatest - will be hosted in Milan, Italy for the first time on 23/09/2019. The world-famous Teatro alla Scala will be the venue where the best of the best in world football will be honoured. Legends of the game from across the globe will gather later this year in the football-mad northern Italian city for the fourth edition of the prestigious event," announced FIFA on 08/02/2019.

After Zurich (SUI) for the first edition, "the hometown of FC Internazionale Milano and AC Milan follows in the footsteps of London (ENG), where last year's event took place," added the International Federation.

"Last September (on 24/09/2018) Croatia's Luka Modrić picked up The Best Men's Player prize and Brazil's Marta was crowned The Best Women's Player. Two French tacticians were also honoured: Didier Deschamps, who guided Les Bleus to 2018 FIFA World Cup glory, was named The Best Men's Coach and Olympique Lyonnais' Reynald Pedros was awarded the trophy for The Best FIFA Women's Coach," said FIFA.
