Global Sports Week: a sports industry event in Paris (FRA) Carrousel du Louvre from 05 to 07/02/2019

Global Sports Week, a professional event that brings together professionals in the sports industry, will take place from Wednesday 05/02 to Friday 07/02/2020 at the Carrousel du Louvre (Paris, FRA), according to the organisers during the 15^th edition of the "Sporsora Sports Marketing Trophies" in Paris on Monday 11/02/2019.

"We think that Paris is more than legitimate to become the capital of the sports economy. Today, there is no event where business, society and sport can meet. There are vertical events, but there is not one that is totally horizontal. Now the time has come," said Lucien Boyer, chief marketing officer of Vivendi, and chairman and co-founder of Global Sports Week.

Lucien Boyer organised the event alongside Laurent Damiani, founding and managing partner of the investment fund Inspiring Sport Capital, and Arnaud Drijard, founding partner and CEO of the Sport Innovation Society (SIS). Their investment is estimated at €1.5m, according to the French sports daily L'Équipe.
