Premier League: Puma formalise their kit partnership with Arsenal from 2014-15

German sports equipment company Puma formalise their partnership with Arsenal FC (Premier League), the club announced at the Emirates Stadium in London (United Kingdom) on the 27/01/2014. The contract will begin on the 01/07/2014.

The agreement is "the most important in the history of Puma and Arsenal," said the German brand. The contract is estimated by several sources to be €35.5 million per season from 2014-2019. Puma replaces Nike, kit supplier to Arsenal since 1994. The American brand paid €9.3 million per season to the London club from 2007-2014, €65 million in total.

Puma will provide all official equipment for training and matches for the London club. The brand obtains the licence fees for the development of all Arsenal merchandise worldwide.

The two partners will work together to introduce innovative technologies in the "performance" products of the sports brand, and will also work on a global strategy to strengthen both their respective growths in all football markets, taking advantage of Puma's global network distribution, international tours and integrated marketing…
