With more than 59 million fans on social media (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram), Manchester City FC (Premier League) has almost 14 times as many as FC Schalke 04 (Bundesliga), which totals 4.4 million, as the two teams prepare to face each other in the first-leg of the Round of 16 of the 2018-19 UEFA Champions League at the Veltins Arena (Gelsenkirchen, GER), on Wednesday 20/02/2019 at 21:00 CET.

In terms of turnover, Manchester City were ranked fifth in the Deloitte Money League 2019, which lists the 20 clubs that generated the most revenue in 2017-18. With €568.4m in revenue, the English club is ahead of FC Schalke 04, 16th in the rankings with €243.8m in revenue.
