UEFA: nine candidate associations for the four European club competition finals in 2021

UEFA has received bid dossiers from nine member associations (Germany, Russia, Georgia, Spain, Belarus, Finland, Northern Ireland, Ukraine and Sweden) to host UEFA club competition finals (4) in 2021 (see details below)," announced the European Confederation on 22/02/2019.

The 2020-21 Champions League final will take place either at the Munich Arena (for such an event, UEFA does not use Allianz Arena as the name of the stadium) in Germany, or at the Saint Petersburg Stadium (Russia). The final of the Women's Champions League will be played at the Gamla Ullevi (18,416 capacity) in Gothenburg (Sweden), the only candidate.

The bidding procedure for the selection of sites where the 2021 finals of the Champions League, Europa League, Women's Champions League and European Super Cup will be held was launched in October 2018. Candidate associations were given until 15/02/2019 to submit an application to UEFA.
