Ligue 1 Conforama: "38 matches have been postponed or re-scheduled" (Didier Quillot, LFP)

"There is no end to the postponement of matches... Since the beginning of the gilets jaunes (yellow vests) crisis, there have been 49 requests for a postponement or delay. 38 Ligue 1 Conforama matches have been postponed or re-scheduled (20 postponed on the same weekend and 18 re-scheduled, for a total of 34.5%) as well as 6 in Domino's Ligue 2. We managed to keep 5 games going. Some prefectures (district under the authority of a prefect or governor) are making efforts to help us (...), but some are going to far," said Didier Quillot, CEO of the LFP, to the French sports daily L'Équipe, on 27/02/2019.

The total number of re-scheduled or postponed matches reached 40 on 27/02/2019 after announcements concerning Toulouse FC - EA Guingamp and Montpellier HSC - Angers SCO (Matchday 28), both rescheduled from Saturday 09 to Sunday 10/03/2019 (see below).
