Premier League: Puma succeeds Nike as equipment supplier of Manchester City from 2019-20

The German brand Puma has become an official partner of City Football Group (CFG), the holding company and owner of Manchester City FC (Premier League), from the 2019-20 season as part of a "long-term partnership," according to the club on 28/02/2019. Puma has become an equipment supplier for Manchester City's men's, women's and youth teams as well as Melbourne City FC (Hyundai A-League), Girona FC (LaLiga Santander), Club Atlético Torque (URU, Primera Division, CFG being a minority shareholder of the club) and Sichuan Jiuniu FC (China League Two, third Chinese division).

Puma has the status of global partner from 01/07/2019, the first level in the sponsorship hierarchy of the English club. Puma will pay City Football Group £650m (€754m) over 10 seasons (2019-2029), or £65m (€75.4m) according to British media on 28/02/2019.
