MLS: the 24^th season begins with Philadelphia Union - Toronto FC on Saturday 02/03/2019

Philadelphia Union - Toronto FC, at the Talen Energy Stadium (18,500 capacity) in Chester, Pennsylvania, USA, will begin the 24^th MLS season on 02/03/2019. The other 11 matches are scheduled between 02 and 04/03/2019.

The 24 North American franchises (21 American and three Canadian) will first compete in a 34-matchday regular season until 06/10/2019. The best teams from each conference (East/West) will compete in the playoffs from 19/10/2019. The conference champions will compete for the title in the final, the Audi MLS Cup 2019, on 10/11/2019.

"During the 2019 MLS regular season, each club will play 34 games, including 17 home games and 17 away games. Teams will face each of their conference opponents twice during the season, with one game at home and one game away. All teams will face each non-conference opponent once," said MLS on 20/12/2019.
