Ligue 1 Conforama: PSG expected to sell more than 1 million shirts in 2018-19 (Union Sport & Cycle)

Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Conforama) is expected to reach the milestone of over 1 million shirts sold for the first time at the end of the 2018-19 financial year, representing a total increase of 25% compared to 2017-18 (850,000 shirts), according to Union Sport & Cycle, on 01/03/2019. In 2011-12 (first season of the Qatari-era), the Parisian club sold 250,000 shirts.

In 2018-19, Paris Saint-Germain launched two capsule collections "Jordan Brand x Paris Saint-Germain" in partnership with its equipment supplier Nike. 40,000 shirts were sold during the launch week of the collection marketed from 14/09/2018. From 14/09 to 14/10/2018, 150,000 shirts from the collection were sold (€140 for the shirt, €85 for the "replica" version).

"The Jordan Brand collection is an accelerator of exposure, notoriety and business for the club thanks to the penetration of new markets (Asia, North America in particular)," said Union Sport & Cycle. In the United States, Paris Saint-Germain shirt sales have soared in 2018-19 (+470%).
