Champions League: 5 of the 15 richest clubs have not reached the semi-finals since 2011-12

Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Conforama), as well as Manchester United FC (Premier League), Arsenal FC (Premier League), Tottenham Hotspur FC (Premier League) and FC Internazionale Milano (Serie A TIM) are the 5 clubs in the Top 15 of the Deloitte Football Money League 2019 (which ranks clubs according to their revenue generated in 2017-18) that have not reached the semi-finals of the Champions League since 2011-12, the first season of the Parisian club under the control of Qatar Sports Investments (QSI).

Manchester United, who have advanced from the Round of 16 at the expense of Paris Saint-Germain (3-3, on aggregate, Man United with 3 away goals), and Tottenham, who eliminated Borussia Dortmund (Bundesliga) in the same round (4-0 on aggregate), have reached the quarter-finals and thus still have the possibility to reach the final four of the competition in 2018-19.

AS Monaco FC (Ligue 1 Conforama), a semi-finalist in 2016-17, is the only club that does not appear in the Football Money League 2019 to have reached the semi-final stage of the competition during the 2011-2018 period.
