France: Ligue 1 Conforama and Domino's Ligue 2 dedicate matchday to promotion of women's football

"We are very happy to be able to combine one of our Ligue 1 Conforama and Domino's Ligue matchdays with the promotion of women's football. On the sidelines of the Women's Rights Day scheduled for 08/03/2019, this initiative makes even more sense with the organization of the 2019 Women's World Cup in France," stated Nathalie Boy de la Tour, president of the LFP, in presenting this initiative alongside Brigitte Henriques, vice-president of the FFF, in Paris (FRA) on 06/03/2019.

"The Matchday 28 matches of Ligue 1 Conforama and Domino's Ligue 2 are devoted to the promotion of women's football, with particular emphasis on the Women's World Cup starting on 07/06/2019," indicated the LFP, which organizes this event in connection with the Local Organizing Committee of France 2019.
