FIFA: the first "Global Women's Football Convention" to be held in Paris (FRA) on 06 and 07/06/2019

"Taking place (in Paris, ahead of the kick-off of the eighth edition of the FIFA Women's World Cup in France) on the 06-07/06/2019, the first Global Women's Football Convention will assemble leaders from the worlds of sports and politics for the first time, to discuss key issues around the development and empowerment of women in football," announced the International Federation on International Women's Day 08/03/2019.

"The convention will harness the spirit of the tournament slogan, Dare to Shine, with encouragement and empowerment of the next generation of girls and women at the core of the event. I believe that the future is bright if we use the societal benefits of football, working alongside our stakeholders, to empower women and girls around the world," said Fatma Samoura (SEN), secretary general of FIFA.
