Lega Serie A: Paolo Scaroni (AC Milan) elected advisor to replace Marco Fassone (ex-AC Milan)

Paolo Scaroni, president of AC Milan (Serie A TIM) has been elected an asadviser to the Lega Serie A, with 13 votes out of 20, at the General Assembly of the league held in Milan (ITA) under the presidency of Gaetano Miccichè and in the presence of representatives of all 20 clubs of the Serie A TIM, on 11/03/2019. Paolo Scaroni replaces Marco Fassone, the CEO of AC Milan from 14/04/2017 to 21/07/2018.

The quorum was 11 votes: in a first round of voting, Paolo Scaroni received 8 votes, against 7 for the vice-president of AS Roma, Mauro Baldissoni. In the second round, the Milanese was elected by collecting 13 votes, against 5 for Baldissoni.
