MLB: Minnesota Twins launch monthly subscription offers without designated seats

The Minnesota Twins (MLB) franchise is launching "Twins Pass", monthly access to Target Field (39,500 capacity) in Minneapolis (USA) without designated seats, on 12/03/2019.

Three "Twins Pass" offers are available, two of which guarantee a seat at the stadium for each game, a seat that is allocated according to availability for $99 (upper level) or $149 (lower level) per month. Those who purchase the $49 monthly subscription offer will receive "guaranteed ballpark access to every regular season game (excluding Opening Day and 15/06/2019 Joe Mauer Day)," said MLB. These subscriptions are electronic and can only be used via the "MLB Ballpark" application, which allocates a seat to each subscriber and notifies them approximately two hours before the game by text message.

Target Field posted its lowest annual attendance in 14 years in 2018 with less than two million fans, according to American media.
