FFF: the France national football team reaches the 6 million followers mark on Instagram

The official Instagram account of the France national football team reached the 6 million followers mark on 14/03/2019. No European national team has as many fans on this social network.

The official account of "Les Bleus" reached 1 million followers on 01/07/2016, during Euro 2016, then the 5 million followers mark on 28/09/2018, one and a half months after the French team won the 2018 World Cup final in Russia.

The French men's team is also the most popular European national team on Twitter (4.2 million followers). On Facebook, it has over 6 million likes, but is outperformed by the English (first) and German (second) national teams (see below).
