NBA: Oklahoma City Thunder becomes the latest franchise to gain a jersey sponsor with Love's Travel

Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores, a US-based travel stop and truck service company, has expanded its partnership with Oklahoma City Thunder (NBA) and become a jersey sponsor of the franchise on 15/03/2019. The franchise located in Oklahoma (USA) thus becomes the 30^th and last NBA franchise to have a jersey sponsor.

The partnership will link the brand and the franchise until the end of the 2022-23 season, according to international media on 15/03/2019. Love's Travel will pay $10m (€8.83m on 15/03/2019) per season to the Thunder, or $40m (€35.35m) over the four seasons. Love's Travel appeared for the first time on the Thunder's jerseys during the game versus the 2017-18 NBA champions, Golden State Warriors (88-110), on 16/03/2019.

Love's Travel has been a partner of Oklahoma City Thunder since 2008-09, when the Seattle SuperSonics moved to the City founding the new franchise.
