The NBA League Pass, the OTT platform of the National Basketball Association, is introducing a pay-per-view offer, allowing viewers to watch "10 minutes of real time-not game time-access to all live and archived games" for $0.99 (€0.87), announced the NBA on 16/03/2019. The offer is available internationally.

The arrival of the new NBA League Pass feature, which is jointly operated by the league and Turner Sports, is linked to the introduction of legalised sports betting in the United States. NBA games are already being broadcast on international betting platforms and may also soon be broadcast in the United States, according to US media reports.

The NBA has already launched various pay-per-view offers since the beginning of the 2018-19 season, first for the last quarter only, then a sliding-scale offer per quarter (see details below).

Pay-per-view pricing on NBA League Pass:

  • Whole game: $6.99 (€6.13)

  • From the last three quarters: $4.99 (€4.38)

  • From halftime: $2.99 (€2.62)

  • From the last quarter: $1.99 (€1.74)

  • 10 minutes: $0.99 (€0.87)
