Tottenham Hotspur FC: club to play first match in its new stadium vs Crystal Palace on 03/04/2019

The Tottenham Hotspur FC - Crystal Palace FC London derby, Matchday 33 of the 2018-19 Premier League season, on Wednesday 03/04/2019 (kick-off TBC), will be the first official match played by Tottenham in its new stadium (62,062 capacity), according to the club on 17/03/2019.

The London club was initially due to host Liverpool FC (Premier League), on 15/09/2018, for its first official match in the new stadium. The match which was eventually played at Wembley due to the discovery of problems with security systems at the new stadium. Tottenham's debut in its new stadium has been postponed several times since then, again for the same reasons.

The match versus Crystal Palace "will be followed on Tuesday 09/04/2019 by the first leg of our UEFA Champions League quarter-final against Manchester City FC (Premier League), kick-off 20:00 (21:00 CET). We shall now play Brighton & Hove Albion FC in the Premier League at the new stadium on either Tuesday 23/04 or Wednesday 24/04/2019," said Tottenham Hotspur.
