North Macedonia: Muamed Sejdini elected president of the Football Federation of Macedonia

Muamed Sejdini has been elected as president of the Football Federation of Macedonia (FFM) at its general assembly held in Ohrid (North Macedonia) on 17/03/2019.

Muamed Sejdini will succeed Ilco Gjorgioski after obtaining 82 votes, 1 abstention and 0 against. Sejdini will serve a two-year term at the head of the national federation of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. Previously vice-president of the FFM, he had been acting president for eight months.

"It is a great honour to be the president and I sincerely hope that we will work together to create a better future for our football. We will do our utmost to achieve the goals of the association’s strategic plan, which means full support from the FFM for national teams, municipal football associations, domestic competitions, infrastructure improvement and youth football development," said Muamed Sejdini, speaking at the General Assembly of the Football Federation of Macedonia (FFM).
