Coupe de la Ligue BKT: the LFP commits to an eco-friendly 25^th final on 30/03/2019

"As part of its Coporate Social Responsibilty programme, the LFP is committed to respecting the Charter of 15 eco-responsible objectives (see video below) drafted by the Ministry of Sports and WWF (World Wildlife Fund), in the organisation of the 25^th Coupe de la Ligue BKT final (RC Strasbourg Alsace - En Avant de Guingamp, at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy in Villeneuve d'Ascq, France, Saturday 30/03/2019). Its objective: to improve the social and environmental impact of the event," explained the French League on 21/03/2019.

"Beyond messages to raise awareness about recycling and donations, the LFP has worked with all its partners to develop its eco-responsible approach to this final," continued the League, who cited a football with an outer cover made from recycled plastic bottles (see below), a second life for waste (clothing materials, surplus food) and a guide for spectators with disabilities at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy.

"Multiple community actions are planned with the League's historical partners," added the LFP.
