Bundesliga: FC Schalke 04 inaugurates an office in Shanghai to continue its development in China

FC Schalke 04 (Bundesliga) has officially opened its office in Shanghai (China) on 20/03/2019. The club had announced the opening of the office, its first in China, on 01/12/2018.

Chinese entrepreneurs, local politicians and the Chinese media participated in the inauguration ceremony, in the presence of Alexander Jobst, chief marketing officer of FC Schalke 04, and Philipp Rütgers, who was appointed CEO of Schalke 04 (Shanghai) Sports Consulting Ltd, a company created on the occasion of the club's establishment in China.

"FC Schalke 04 has been active in the Chinese market for several years. Now opening our own office here is the logical step for us to continue our successful development in this country," said Alexander Jobst.
