Bundesliga: FC Bayern Munich enters a partnership with the Singaporean public body SportSG

FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) and SportSG, the Singaporean public body responsible for developing sports culture in the country, have entered into a partnership based on the training of young players and coaches, according to the German club on 25/03/2019.

As part of the agreement, training camps, trips and exchange programmes between Singapore and Munich (GER) will be set up. FC Bayern will also host a stage of the FC Bayern Youth Cup, an international youth tournament that brings together the best players from all participating countries at the end of each season in a final tournament, in Singapore.

"Football is becoming more and more popular in Singapore, and we're proud to cooperate with SportSG. An extensive exchange of knowledge and our continuous support of the development of youth football in Singapore is the focus of the partnership," said Jörg Wacker, executive board member for internationalisation and strategy at FC Bayern Munich.
