Premier League: Tottenham Hotspur FC opens an art gallery within its new stadium

Tottenham Hotspur FC (Premier League) has opened an art gallery within its new premises, the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (62,062 capacity), on 24/03/2019. It is located on level 1 of the stadium's west stand, which is scheduled to be officially opened during the game versus Crystal Palace FC (Matchday 33 of the 2018-19 Premier League season) on Wednesday 03/04/2019 (kick-off at 20:45 CET).

"Tottenham Hotspur has become the first Club to create an art gallery within its stadium to showcase works of local artists. Albert 'Agwa' Clegg, Ashton Attzs, Marina Nimmo and Natsko Seki have been commissioned by the club to each create a piece of art inspired by the area of Tottenham," said the English club. The exhibited works will be changed regularly to offer visibility to many local artists.

The gallery's inauguration coincided with the Tottenham Hotspur - Southampton FC U18 Premier League game (3-1), played on 24/03/2019, which served as the first "test event", an event that should enable the club to obtain the security certificate to host official matches in the new venue.
