IOC: $430m paid to National Olympic Committees and International Federations after PyeongChang 2018

$430m (€382m) is the total amount paid to National Olympic Committees (NOCs) and International Federations (IFs) by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) following the success of the 2018 Olympic Winter Games in PyeongChang (South Korea), as announced by the IOC at the end of its Executive Board meeting in Lausanne (SUI) on 27/03/2019.

"This revenue distribution represents $32m (€26.3m on 31/12/2014, +8%) more than the amounts related to Sochi 2014," said the IOC.

"The IOC contributed a record amount of $887m to the success of the Games (PyeongChang 2018), which is $54m (€48m) more than for the Olympic Winter Games Sochi 2014 and does not include the IOC share of the surplus announced last year (part of the €55m/€48.8m announced on 08/10/2018, the surplus being generally divided between the IOC, the Organising Committee and the National Olympic Committee of the host country)," explained the International Olympic Committee.
