Belarus: Vladimir Bazanov elected president of the Football Federation of Belarus (2019-2023)

Vladimir Bazanov, former chairman of the governing board of FC Dinamo Brest, has been elected president of the Football Federation of Belarus (BFF) for a term of four years (2019-2023), during an electoral conference held in Minsk on 27/03/2019.

"Bazanov (61), a deputy in the Belarus house of representatives, has held a number of positions in the country's national assembly, the state parliament," said UEFA on 28/03/2019.

"We have to guarantee the fruitful continuity of the association's work. Our strategic goal is to increase the number of amateur and grassroots players, to increase the number of students in special [football] schools, and to adhere strictly to our 'from grassroots to brilliance' principle," said Vladimir Bazanov in his speech before the election.
