The telecommunications operator Altice France posted a turnover of €10.16bn in 2018, as indicated in the accounts of its parent company Altice Europe, published on 28/03/2019. This figure is down 4.6% compared to 2017 (€10.65bn).

Altice France gained 1.333 million customers (1.022 million mobile subscribers and 332,000 box subscribers) in 2018, "more than the number of customers lost in three years since the acquisition of SFR (on 05/04/2014)," said Altice Europe. SFR exceeded Free in number of mobile subscribers (13.5 million versus 13.4 million) as of 31/12/2018, and has thus become the second largest French mobile operator after Orange (19.2 million).

Altice France represents 72% of the €14.1bn turnover of its parent company Altice Europe, which also operates in Portugal (€2.3bn in turnover), Israel (€940m in turnover) and the Dominican Republic (€553m).

On 03/12/2018, the group sold 49.99% of SFR's fibre network to a consortium of investors for €1.7bn, enabling it to reduce its debt by €28.8bn (more than twice its turnover).
