NBA: first regular season game to be held in Paris (France) at the AccorHotels Arena on 24/01/2020

For the first time in France, an NBA regular season game will be held in Paris (FRA) on Friday 24/01/2020 (kick-off 21:00 CET), announced the NBA on the studio set of the beIN Sports France daily show "NBA Extra" on 28/03/2019.

The Milwaukee Bucks - Charlotte Hornets game, counting for the 2019-20 NBA regular season, will take place at the AccorHotels Arena (15,609 capacity for basketball) in Paris. The Hornets have two French players in their 2018-19 squad, Tony Parker and Nicolas Batum. Former NBA star Michael Jordan is the majority owner of the Charlotte Hornets franchise.

The Palais Omnisports de Paris Bercy, now called by its sponsored name AccorHotels Arena, has hosted four NBA pre-season games between 1994 and 2010 (see list below). Since 2011, London (GBR) has hosted nine NBA games at the O2 Arena (18,689 capacity). The "NBA London Game 2019", Washington Wizards - New York Knicks (101-100) played on 17/01/2019, was the 91^st NBA game to be played in Europe, "the most of any region outside the United States and Canada," said the NBA on the day of the game.
