Bundesliga: Industrial Bank of China (CIB) becomes a regional partner of FC Bayern Munich in China

Industrial Bank of China (CIB) has become a regional partner of FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) in China, according to the German club on 29/03/2019. The duration of the partnership has not yet been communicated.

The Industrial Bank of China has the status of regional partner, the fifth level in the Bavarian club's sponsorship hierarchy. The China-based company is Bayern Munich's seventh regional partner in Asia. "LED screens at China's most important landmarks also carried information about the partnership. The first co-branded credit cards for the Chinese market were also presented as part of the launch event. The partnership between the German record champions and CIB, one of China's largest banks, includes among other things the use of exclusive branding rights, meet & greets, and fan trips to the Allianz Arena," said Bayern Munich.

As part of the partnership CIB will also be orgainising the club's "first major fan event in Beijing (CHN)" for FC Bayern Munich - Borussia Dortmund (Matchday 28 of the 2018-19 Bundesliga season) on 06/04/2019.
