Umbro will become the official kit and equipment supplier of Everton (Premier League) from the 2014-15 season, announced the Liverpool-based club on 04/02/2014. The five-year partnership will expire at the end of the 2018-19 season.

The new Everton kit should be presented on 01/06/2014. Umbro has partnered with the club on several occasions since the 1970s (1974-1983, 1986-2000 and 2004-2009). The brand, of English origin, will replace Nike, which currently pays nearly €3.5 million for the 2013-14 season.

Umbro is rebuilding its portfolio of clubs for the 2014-15 season. The brand had gradually given up most of its rights after its takeover by Nike in 2007. Nike sold Umbro to the U.S. group Iconix Brand Group in October 2012 for around €170 million.

  • Umbro is the kit and equipment supplier for the national teams of Norway, Ireland and Canada in 2013-14.
  • The sports equipment company is not under contract with any of the 32 teams participating in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil (Nike equips 10 teams, Adidas and Puma 8 each).
