For the Juventus - Inter Milan match (3-1, 22nd Matchday of Serie A), 12,700 people participated in a giant tifo preselected on the Internet, via a contest called #LoveJu. The initiative, implemented by the Turin club via a dedicated page on its Facebook profile, invited users to create their own visual animation.

After a first stage of selection, the finalist designs were posted on the Facebook page of Juventus. The visual animation that received the most "likes" was effected during the match against Inter Milan (a match dubbed "il derby d’Italia"; the derby of Italy since the 60s) on 02/02/2014.

Altogether, 3,122 designs were proposed. The one chosen by users was the work of a Frenchman, Steven Kem. Its construction required the use of 12,700 sheets, arranged by 40 people onto the seats before the match.

  • Juventus also coordinated the contest on the social network Twitter.
  • With the hashtag #LoveJu, fans were able to send messages to the team, which were then broadcast on giant screens in the Juventus Stadium.
    • 13,500 messages were sent.
