eSports: Beko (home appliances) official supplier of the League of Legends European Championship

Beko, a Turkish home appliance group, has become an official supplier of the inaugural edition of the League of Legends European Championship (LEC) and will "take their first major step into eSports at the LEC Spring Finals in Rotterdam (NED)" said the eSports league run by the American video game developer and eSports tournament organiser Riot Games, on 01/04/2019.

"Beko launched 'Eat Like a Pro', its global initiative on healthier eating, starting by helping parents and children on the importance of healthy eating and nutrition by showing what their heroes eat to perform at their best," said Riot Games. The LEC began on 18/01/2019 in Berlin (GER).

As the seventh sponsor of the LEC, Beko joins Red Bull (energy drinks), Foot Locker (sports equipment), Kia (car manufacturer), Shell (petrol company), Dell Alienware (computer hardware) and Logitech (computer equipment). Additionally, Beko is also a sleeve sponsor of FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) for the 2014-2021 cycle.
