Canada: DAZN acquires exclusive Premier League broadcasting rights (2019-2022)

The OTT platform DAZN has acquired the exclusive rights to broadcast, in Canada, the Premier League, for the 2019-2022 cycle, on 03/04/2019.

DAZN replaces the Canadian audiovisual group Bell Media, holder of the rights of the competition for the current cycle (2016-2019).

In Canada, DAZN also holds the exclusive rights to broadcast the Champions League and Europa League and exclusive digital rights for the Serie A TIM (2018-2021 cycle for all three competitions). DAZN also entered into a partnership with beIN Sports, on 17/08/2018, to broadcast, in Canada, all the competitions held by the Qatari pay-TV group, including the Ligue 1 Conforama and LaLiga Santander.
