With more than 72 million subscribers on social networks (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram), FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) has almost three times as many as Borussia Dortmund (Bundesliga), which totals nearly 26 million, as the two teams prepare to face each other on Matchday 28 of the 2018-19 Bundesliga season at the Allianz Arena (75,000 capacity) in Munich (Bavaria, GER) on Saturday 06/04/2019 (kick-off at 18.30 CET).

In terms of turnover, Bayern are ranked fourth in the Deloitte Football Money League 2019, which lists the 20 clubs that generated the most revenue in 2017-18. With €629.2m in revenue, the Bavarian club is ahead of Borussia Dortmund, twelfth in the ranking with a revenue of €317.2m.

The Dortmund (North Rhine-Westphalia, GER) club, first in the Bundesliga table with a two-point lead over their opponents, has an average of 80,813 spectators per match at the Signal Iduna Park (81,365 capacity) after 27 Bundesliga matchdays (99% fill rate), meanwhile the Bavarian club has drawn a full house (75,000 spectators) for home games since the beginning of the season.
