With more than 6 million fans on social networks (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram), Sport Lisboa e Benfica (Liga NOS) has four times as many as Eintracht Frankfurt (Bundesliga), which has a total of nearly 1.5 million, as the two teams prepare to face each other in the first leg quarterfinal of the 2018-19 Europa League at the Estadio da Luz in Lisbon (POR) on Thursday 11/04/2019 (kick-off at 21:00 CET).

In terms of turnover, SL Benfica posted revenues (excluding capital gains on player transfers) of €150.7m in 2017-18, slightly higher than those of Eintracht Frankfurt, which posted revenues of €140m the same year.

In 2018-19 the Lisbon club has an average attendance of 52,429 (82% fill rate) at the Estadio da Luz (64,165 capacity) after 28 Liga NOS matchdays, while Eintracht has an average of 49,429 spectators (96% fill rate) at the Commerzbank Arena, after 28 Bundesliga matchdays.

SL Benfica's squad was valued at €318m by the website transfermarkt.de on 11/04/2019, while Eintracht Frankfurt's squad has been valued at €261.7m.
