Mediapro: revenue of €1.967bn in 2018 (+20%), EBITDA of €222m (+17%)

Mediapro posted revenue of €1.967bn in 2018, up 20% compared to 2017, announced the Chinese-Spanish audiovisual group on 11/04/2019. The group recorded an EBITDA of €222m (+17%) while the group's debt was €442m (stable year-on-year) as of 31/12/2018.

"The group closed several strategic rights agreements in 2018, including Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 in France (see below), the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 (rights in Spain) and the Canadian Soccer League (domestic and international). Content production also sustained considerable growth and the Group continues the consolidation of its eSports division expansion, while maintaining its position as a world leader in the provision of audiovisual services," stated Mediapro.
