Notre-Dame: "The football world will be involved in the reconstruction" (N. Boy de la Tour, LFP)

"The football world will be involved in the reconstruction of Notre Dame Cathedral. We will stand together in solidarity in the face of this tragedy that affects us all," said Nathalie Boy de la Tour (FRA), president of the LFP, on 16/04/2019, the day after the fire that severely damaged the cathedral and destroyed its roof on 15/04/2019.

"The whole of French football will be mobilised to look at how it can contribute to the reconstruction of this building, particularly from a financial point of view. We will contact the FFF to see what can be done, see what help we can provide," added the president of the French League, during the signing of a one-year agreement with the environmental NGO WWF (World Wildlife Fund) France, which has a three objectives:
• Raise public awareness of biodiversity and environmental protection issues.
• Raise awareness among players in training centres of these same issues.
• Reduce the environmental footprint of clubs.
