Eleven Sports: pay-per-view offer launched in the UK and Ireland for LaLiga Santander matches

The British OTT platform Eleven Sports has launched a pay-per-view offer for LaLiga Santander matches in collaboration with the Onefootball application, in the United Kingdom and Ireland, on 17/04/2019. Matches are available individually for £2.99 (€3.49 in Ireland) via the Onefootball application.

"Plans are also in development for the Onefootball pay-per-view option to be rolled out for Serie C matches in Italy, before the model is launched in other Eleven Sports markets from the 2019-20 season onwards," said Eleven Sports.

Eleven Sports has been experiencing difficulties in the United Kingdom and Ireland where the group has not been able to sign a distribution agreement with one of the British telecommunications operators (Sky, BT and Virgin Media). Launched in the two countries on 09/08/2018, Eleven Sports has stopped offering annual subscriptions since the beginning of 2019.
