CAF: Moroccan Mouad Hajji appointed secretary general, he succeeds the dismissed Egyptian Amr Fahmy

The removal of secretary general Amr Fahmy (EGY) "for misbehavior"; amicable separation with the deputy secretary general in charge of Administration and Finance, Essadik Alaoui (MAR); and the appointment of a new secretary general, Mouad Hajji (MAR) are the decisions are taken by the CAF executive committee at its meeting in Cairo (EGY) on 11 and 12/04/2019.

"Mouad Hajji worked for a long time at the Moroccan Royal Football Federation as administrative director of the national teams and general coordinator of the international relations from 2014 to 2018. He also held the position of deputy director of the local committee of organization of the 2014 FIFA Club World Cup Morocco," said CAF.

"As the cabinet director of the minister of youth and sports of the Kingdom of Morocco, he was able to implement among others the programme 'Sport Studies' in six different disciplines between 2009 and 2011," added the African Confederation.
