United States: eight European clubs will participate in the Guinness International Champions Cup 2014

Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool FC (Barclays Premier League), Inter Milan, AC Milan and AS Roma (Serie A Tim), Real Madrid (Liga BBVA) and Olympiakos (Greece) are the eight teams who will participate in the Guinness International Champions Cup 2014 pre-season tournament held in the United States, announced the sports event company Relevent Sports on 04/02/2014.

This tournament will take place from 26/07 to 04/08/2014. Teams will be divided into two groups of four and each play three matches. The two teams that have finished top of their group will compete in the final. The matches will take place in Phoenix, Denver, Washington DC, Charlotte, Dallas, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Chicago, New York and one additional site to be determined. The final will be held at the Sun Life Stadium (76,000 seats) in Miami.

The American company Relevent Sports is a subsidiary of CSR Ventures. This group has created the competition and organised it since 2013. Stephen Ross, franchise owner of the Miami Dolphins (NFL, American Football League) is the co-founder of CSR Ventures.
