Old Trafford generates the most revenue (€127.3m in 2012-13) reports Deloitte

Old Trafford (76,000 seats), the stadium of Manchester United (Premier League), is the football venue that generates the most revenue with €127.3m in 2012-13, according to figures released by the audit firm and consultancy Deloitte in a report released on 23/01/2014.

Real Madrid's (Liga) Santiago Bernabeu stadium ranks second with €119m and the Camp Nou of FC Barcelona is third with €117.6m.

In the 2014 edition of Deloitte's "Football Money League" Annual Report on the value of European clubs, six English clubs are in the European Top 20 in stadium revenue with four German and four Italian clubs, three Spanish clubs, two Turkish and one French.

  • Real Madrid (Liga BBVA) remain the richest club in the world with revenues estimated at €518.9m. FC Barcelona (Liga BBVA) are second with €482.6m.
  • The European champion in 2013, Bayern Munich (Bundesliga), are third with revenues estimated at €431.2m.
  • For the first time, the top 30 clubs all generated more than €100m each.
  • In total, the top 20 richest clubs hold combined revenues in excess of €5.4bn in 2012-13…
